On Tuesday, the "We Found Love" singer got her thrills in while parasailing off the coast of the gorgeous European city. Riding tandem with a friend, Rihanna appeared to be having a ball while her pal looked a bit more reserved about their sky-high excursion.

While reaching new heights, the 24-year-old Grammy-winning star wore a sexy white one-piece swimsuit, several rings and a pair of sparkling earrings. Bright red lipstick her long and loose mane topped off her carefree but glam beach look.
Before her stop in Cannes, the sun-loving Barbados beauty was spotted in St. Tropez, France, where she embarked on more thrill-seeking jaunts like jet-skiing and jumping on a water trampoline.

After the adrenaline rushes, the star kicked back on the shore to soak up the sun. "Life is but a beach chair," she tweeted on Wednesday.

Rihanna wants message from dead grandmother

Rihanna has been pleading for her dead grandmother to contact her from beyond the grave.

The 'Rude Boy' singer has been rocked by the loss of her beloved grandparent Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite on June 30, and is hoping she will send her some sort of message from the afterlife to let her know she is still watching over her.

Referring to her by her nickname, she tweeted: "I wish u were here ... Got so many questions and you always had answers #grangranDOLLY

Rihanna is reported to be spending time with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in the South of France and her desire to speak to 'Dolly' could come from her need for advice on whether she should get involved again with the man who brutally assaulted in February 2009.


Rihanna cancelled her appearance at the Rock In Rio festival in Madrid, Spain, and flew back to her native Barbados to be with her mother Monica after the death of her grandmother.

She then attended both funeral services held for Clara, one in New York and another in Barbados.

Rihanna frequently talks to her passed grandparent directly in her tweets, paying tribute after her passing by writing: "Goodbye grangranDolly get your beauty rest until I see you. grangranDolly that is all. (sic)"

Before her Barbados funeral, she wrote: "grangranDolly time for your party in Barbados. (sic)"

Rihanna has become increasingly spiritual in her tweets since 'Dolly' died, writing yesterday: "I put it all in Your hands!!! I love my Creator!!!! #1Love #1Life (sic)."

She has also retweeted a post by Spiritual Truths, hinting at her love life: "Love is calling you, the happiness you seek is written within the heart, take notice of your feelings & find your way home."

You get the idea. In fact, we're getting so obsessed with her vacation photos, we're expecting a summer 2013 release for "Rihanna's Yacht: The Movie."

One downside, though: The last thing Rihanna probably wanted on this trip, besides adult supervision, was to have her ex Chris Brown on her mind. But, of course, Brown showed up in St. Tropez at the same time, reigniting the wildfire of reunion rumours. Brown's rep has denied them, insisting that he was there with his current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. We each have our own way of coping with stress.

Rihanna's recent dates with a basketball star were just "a distraction".

 The singer was spotted with New York Knicks player J.R. Smith several times last month. While there was speculation Rihanna had fallen for the bad boy athlete, those close to the star insist she isn't interested in taking things any further.

 "The dates with J.R. weren't serious," a source told Look magazine. "It was just a distraction - another wild night where she met the wrong kind of guy and had too much fun."

I know she's a huge celebrity and all, but what on earth possessed Rihanna to step out in New York City wearing a strapless bra as a top?!

And to make her fashion faux pas even worse, this isn't just any strapless bra. The one she wore is pretty much paper-thin, which made her nipples stick out for the whole world to see. And unless that's exactly what she was going for -- I think it's safe to say she failed miserably with this particular ensemble.

But she must have finally realized she was revealing a bit too much, which is probably why she covered up herself up with a sweatshirt. I guess I could kind of justify wearing nothing but a bra if it was sweltering hot outside -- but it's actually been fairly cool in the northeast this week. And while temperatures aren't frigid, they certainly aren't warm enough to leave the house half-naked.
But let's put the whole shock factor aside for a second and talk about the bra itself. 

I get why Rihanna wore it -- I really do. Because I purchased a very similar looking seamless strapless bra a few weekends ago, and I'm in LOVE with that thing. Since there's no underwire, it doesn't cut into your skin or cause bra-line bulge, and it's so comfortable to wear -- under clothes, that is. 

 I guess I can see where she got tempted to throw it on without a top simply because of the comfort factor. But she could've easily thrown on a sheer button down shirt to make the outfit a little less risque, but just as sexy. Plus, it would've matched her sheer skirt a lot better than that bulky sweatshirt. Would you ever wear a bra as a top?

Rihanna is putting a tropical twist on Vita Coco’s latest campaign. The Bajan beauty has collaborated with the coconut water brand on its new Tropical Fruit flavor.

A blonde RiRi was radiant in a custom-made pineapple print bikini top with matching shorts and blouse as she shot with famed photographer Terry Richardson. “This time it’s a little more fun,” said the pop diva, who previously starred in Vita Coco’s 2011 campaign.
“We’re on a stage. We get to shoot it with Terry Richardson, who’s an amazing photographer. Everybody knows his work. He’s known for his fun shoots and personality.”

Rihanna has racked up another film role. After making her debut in "Battleship," she's landed a part in Seth Rogen's directorial debut, "The End of the World." Rihanna was spotted shooting scenes with "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson on Rogen's latest project in New Orleans on Thursday, alongside co-star Jonah Hill. The singer took to Twitter to drop hints about the project, telling fans, "Movie time in N.O, all my fav comedians in 1 room! Pure laughs non stop."
After her scenes wrapped, she added, "Just leaving set! This has to be one of my favorite moments in life (shooting) end of the world." In more emotional parts of the clip, Rihanna and Martin, playing star-crossed lovers, kneel in the desert, forehead to forehead, as they mourn the loss of their love. But the moving image soon turns violent as they float through the air and partake in a ninja battle. Much like the characters in the song, the onscreen characters are torn up about their dying love. 

And while the love story is at the center of the clip, Rihanna's look is also a standout as she appears in several forms: multi-armed goddess, heartbroken geisha and fierce warrior princess. The official June 4 release date had been pushed back from May before leaking to the Net on Saturday, the same day Rihanna dropped some behind-the-scenes photos on Facebook. In the images, her hair is done up in a geisha bun and she wears long, fringe earrings.
